Rogers Behavioral Health opens outpatient center SUMMIT — Rogers Behavioral Health- Chicago opened its third regional outpa- tient treatment center Monday in Skokie, Ill. Rogers is based in Summit and employs a team of psychologists and psychiatrists that utilize comprehensive treatment programs based in cognitive behavior therapy emphasizing exposure and response preven- tion. The 12,000-square-foot Skokie center offers a partial hospitalization program for adults, adolescents and chil- dren diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety. It will consist of a treatment plan that is six hours a day, five days per week, as well as an intensive outpa- tient program for those with less severe symptoms. "The approach Rogers takes to OCD and anxi- ety therapy is evidence- based, or those in which research studies have documented and proven them to be the most effective treat- ment. They are nation- ally recognized for their OCD and anxiety programs and I am excited to work with them to meet the demand for these treatment services," said Karen Cassiday, PhD, clinical director for Rogers Behavioral Health-Chicago. www.rogershospitals.org First Bank partners with BloodCenter of Wisconsin Submitted photo First Bank Financial Centre recently teamed with BloodCenter of Wisconsin for a community blood drive.
