Parra won $22,000 last night and looks to continue his streak tonight. Parra worked for the Owls during the 2011 season as the Media Relations Intern and radio broadcaster. Known for his movie quotes and great personality he instantly became a fan favorite. Parra becomes the fi rst Owls staff member to be on a national television game show. "I am so proud of Danny and his accomplishments," says Owls General Manager Jeremy Boler. "Danny started off with us as an intern last summer and I am glad to see he is doing so well. He is extremely smart, very funny and just a great over all guy. Celebrating its 16th season in 2012, the CPL features 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Vir- ginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refi ne their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts. Furthermore, the CPL has had over 930 alumni drafted and 46 alums make their Major League debut thus far.
