Services were held at Friendship United Methodist Church. Burial was held in the church cemetery. Mrs. Allison was preced- ed in death by her husband Everette Carl Turner; her parents, Pinkney Alexander Allison and Edna C. Allison son, Joe Turner; brothers, Woodrow, Pinkney Jr., and Hogue Allison; sisters, Bessie McCombs and Eva Bingham and one deceased grand- child. Mr. Lewis served our coun- try in the Navy during the Korean War Conflict, where he served on the USS Union. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Janie Posey Lewis; his broth- er, Harold Lewis; nephew, Mike Whisnant; and brother in law, Charles Whisnant. He is survived by his lov- ing wife of 54 years, Wanda Causby Lewis of the home; son, Robert Alan Lewis; Sheila Davis and husband Randy, Kathy Phillips, all of Shelby; two sisters, Loretta Harris and husband Bill of Charlotte, Lunette Whisnant of Kings Mountain; four grandchildren; 5 nephews; 2 nieces; 5 great nephews and 4 great nieces.
