KInGs WHO COOK
Temptation was lined up as far as the eye could see at
the 17th annual Kings Who Cook festival, sponsored by
the Harrisburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma eta
Sorority. Each table held delicious dishes for attendees to
sample, served up by more than 100 men who like to cook.
Proceeds from the event go to fund college scholarships, as
well as to community service projects and programs.
JerseY MIKe
rOCK + run 5K
Some ran, some walked, some came in costume,
but everyone had a great time at the third
annual Jersey Mike Rock + Run 5K. e five-
kilometer race started on City Island, looped
around Riverfront Park and back, followed by
a rocking after-party at the Federal Taphouse/
FedLive. e race is held each year in memory
of Harrisburg concert promoter and community
activist Jersey Mike Van Jura and is designed to
help promote healthy living.
