They sold that location in 1990 and purchased two McDonald's restaurants in West Bend. Fast forward to 2015 and Kilian Management Services operates 41 McDonald's across the state, including 6 in Washington county. They employee almost 2,000 employees. Those employees are a key element of Kilian Management's longevity and growth. Steve and Debbie's oldest son Steve Jr. joined the McDonald's family when he was 12. Having risen through the ranks, he is responsible for the day to day operations of the 41 restaurants. The Kilians believe in giving something back into the communities they do business in. The Boys and Girls Club, Threshold, United Way, Ronald McDonald House, and Little League have been non-profit partners. The Kilians also host McTeacher Nights. Steve Kilian Jr. said McTeacher Nights are a great way to support local schools and everybody has a lot of fun. Children are a focus for McDonalds and the Kilians. McDonald's offers healthy options for kids (and adults too). "It is great to be able to have such an impact on the health and well-being of kids" said Steve Jr. Offerings such as Go-Gurt, apple slices, Cuties mandarins, smoothies, wraps, salads and egg whites are available. You place your customized order at a kiosk and then take a seat. In 8-10 minutes your order is delivered table-side. Grilled mushrooms, guacamole, creamy garlic sauce and caramelized grilled onions are some of the options you can select. 25 years in Washington County is a wonderful milestone.
