Burial was held at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Dedmon was preced- ed in death by his parents, F.S. Dedmon and Jennine Alexander Dedmon; two brothers, Bill Dedmon and Gend Dedmon; and brother- in-law, Lowell Shive. He is survived by his wife, Doris Spangler Dedmon; his daughter, June Dedmon during WWII European Campaign and was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty McGinnis Hastings; his par- ents, Martin Zero and Cleo Hanes Hastings; brothers, Fred and Ralph Hastings; sisters, Daisy Peters, Grace Kaylor, Gazzie Mode, Sue Frances, Ethel McSwam, and Macie Mull.
