They are, from left, Deana Harrill, Beverly Conner, Becki Melton, Sharon Dobbins, Neenah Vaughn, Jennifer Flynn and Chicas Hamilton (not pictured). The RHI Legacy Board and Scholarship Selection Committee held a reception in their honor. Each of these nurses is enrolled in BS or MS classes for an additional step in her professional nursing education. The Helene Kish Tryon Nursing Scholarship was established by Tryon's husband, Bill, in her memory in 1996. She served as the fi rst president of the Rutherford Hospital Auxiliary and the director of volunteer services. RHI Legacy Foundation presented $30,000 in total awards for the 2014 recipients. This scholarship is a part of the RHI Legacy Foundation's efforts to support and enhance health care programs in Rutherford County.
