After some much needed rains from "Lee", and a nice cooling trend, we're still enjoying an early taste of Fall like weather for a while. The weathermap has got the quiet look, with just not much showing up anywhere, except in the Gulf. There could be another system develop- ing there, and in the Atlantic, and next up will be "Maria" and "Nate", depending on which system develops first. It's too early to say where either storm heads for sure, so the Southeast will have to watch things over the weekend. Gradually, we will be getting warmer and more humid though. The longer range later this month shows a sharp cool-down, and maybe some more widespread rain, so Autumn is definitely on the move south.
