Under general supervision, is responsible for the maintenance of the Water Distribution System, wells, well buildings, hydrants, meters, water quality testing, and all other utility equipment. Overtime hours during nights and weekends as required. Snowplowing for Public Works as needed. Experience in dealing with the public; the ability to analyze customer billings and explain the billings to customers of the utility will be a strong consideration. Computer operation skills are required. Mathematical abilities are a must. Knowledge and experience in Water Utility operations is required. Certification in Groundwater, Distribution, VOC, and others necessary for operation of the Utility is required. Ability to work in sub-zero weather. Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver's License, including CDL and good driving record. Candidates will need to pass a background check, physical and drug screening. The City of West Bend offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including health and life insurance. Starting salary will be $19.95-$24.03 DOQ.
