Patrica Coyle received her Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Florida, and has participated in many group shows and solo exhibits in galleries in Peekskill, Ben- nington, Vt., and Orlando, Fla.
In 2008, she curated an eight-artist exhibition titled “Altered State,”asking artists to create a distinctive piece illustrating their own “skewed” view of life in Central Florida. Coyle describes the show as “uniquely strange, humorous and poi- gnant” and reflecting life where “Mickey is King.” The installation she is showing in Franklin, “Lily Pad Forest,” debuted at this show.
