Post Staff MILWAUKEE — The Bon-Ton Stores, which operates the Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner's, Carson's, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's and Younkers nameplates, will host a Community Days event in all stores in November. Community Days — to be held Nov. 14 and Nov. 15 — will benefit local nonprofit organizations, as well as the American Heart Association. Nonprofits can sign up now at www.communitydayevent.com. Leading up to the Community Days, participating local 501 (c) (3) organiza- tions can sell coupon booklets to the general public and online to raise funds and offer customers the chance to shop at Boston Store locations with exclusive dis- counts. For an organization to participate, it must complete an online registration. It will receive a special code that can be shared on the organization's website, via email and on social media platforms. Supporters can purchase a $5 coupon book- let from the organization or through the special code, and the organization will keep 100 percent of the donation. Customers also can purchase the coupon book through Nov. 15 in stores and online at www.bostonstore.com. They have the choice to donate to any participating organization or the American Heart Association. In return, customers will receive a $10 off coupon, as well as a booklet that contains a 30 percent off shopping pass and more than $500 in special coupons to use at any Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner's, Carson's, Elder- Beerman, Herberger's and Younkers stores and online during the two -day November event. Bon-Ton held its previous Community Days event in February. It raised more than $4.5 million for local nonprofits and the American Heart Association. For more information or to find par- ticipating organizations, visit www.com- munitydayevent.com. 2 • Milwaukee County Post • September 5, 2014 volume 20, issue number 36 The Milwaukee County Post (ISSN 1544-1776) is published weekly by Conley Media, Milwaukee County 3397 South Howell Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53207 For all departments call: 414.744.6370 General FAX: 414-375-7070 Classifieds: 800-762-6219 ext. 5005 Classified Fax: 262-334-6252 For display advertising inquires: Daryl Skaradzinski: General Manager - ext. 13 dskaradzinski@conleynet.com For editorial inquires: Dwayne Butler: Editor - 262-513-2626 dbutler@conleynet.com POSTMASTER: Send address changes to the Milwaukee County Post 3397 S.
