We’re now in the hottest part of the Summer, and having some close brushes with 100 degree weather, we’re about to get a chance to give the air condi- tioners a little break. A cold front will sag down to Georgia Friday and cooler high pressure will push down the east coast, ushering in a moist, cloudy regime, along with tem- peratures closer to normal. A flow off the ocean will bank up into the mountains, placing our area in the middle of the drizzle, sprinkles and occasional rains over the weekend. By Sunday, the skies will clear up some, and the heat will be trying to come back.
