Did Realize...ealize... er Famous North Carolinian YARD SALES Eric Church Singer/Songwriter Eric Church Singer/Songwriter He was born in Granite Falls, North Carolina on May 3, 1977. He’s now 34 years old and does vocals and plays guitar in his country band. He started in 2005. He was signed to Capitol Records in 2006. His fi rst album “Sinners Like Me” produced four chart singles on the Billboard country charts including the Top 20 hits “How About You”, “Two Pink Lines”, and “Guys Like Me”. His second album 2009’s “Carolina” produced three more singles: “Smoke A Little Smoke” and his fi rst Top 10 hits, “Love Your Love The Most” and “Hell On The Heart”. Church grew up in Granite Falls and at age thirteen bought a guitar and began writing songs of his own. By his senior year he was playing at a local bar. He kept playing at bars and some were so rough that he got into a few altercations from the stage. He expanded with his band throughout North Carolina. At the time his band consisted of his college roommate, brother and another fellow guitarist. Before moving to Nashville, he graduated from South Caldwell High School and Appalachian State University with a degree in marketing.
