Is there any word on whether or not it will be coming back for another season? A: There is word on that, and it's not good. The real murderer in "Whodunnit's" story has turned out to be ABC. The series, which creator Anthony Zuiker called "reality fic- tion," set up an elaborate, Agatha Christie-style murder-in-a- mansion scenario, and then recruited a bunch of contestants to play it out as they, and the audience, tried to figure out who among them was the killer. (I would say it's a bit like a live-action version of the board game Clue, but they already made a movie like that — 1985's "Clue," starring Tim Curry — so that gets confusing.) Anyway, it was allowed to play out its full season last sum- mer, but then not another word was spoken about it. If this was an actual murder, instead of a TV-show cancelation, one might say there was a coverup at work. Instead, there's just the usual TV business at work. Networks often don't make cancelation announcements — if a show is al- lowed to air its season finale before being canceled, it frequently just disappears afterward. Have a question?
