Family Sharing Provides Food to People in
Need in Ozaukee County
Family Sharing's client
base is comprised of
Ozaukee County residents,
which includes low-income
families with children, the
elderly, and those who deal
with serious physical and
mental health issues.
Almost 37,000 pounds of
food are distributed to 600
households per month.
Program participants are
able to visit the pantry
once every two weeks.
Donations gratefully
accepted for the Family
Sharing Resale Shop help
support the food pantry:
C l o t h i n g , s h o e s ,
accessories, furniture,
lamps, area rugs,
bakeware, cookware, small
appliances, glassware,
dishes, linens, artwork,
antiques, decorative items,
DVDs, stereos, DVD
players, books, sporting
goods and electronics. All
items should be in clean,
gently used condition.
Scrap metal and
electronics (no TVs or
computer monitors)
including stoves and hot
water heaters are also
accepted.
As winter winds down and
retailers are clearing out
their inventory, please
consider purchasing a
jacket or two. New jackets
that are donated go directly
to children the following
October; they are not sold
in the Resale Shop. Hats,
scarves, waterproof gloves
and mittens are also
available to Food Pantry
children throughout the
winter.
