Art People Untitled, by David Zimmerman Main View Gallery will have an opening public reception for its latest exhibit, “The Big Picture,” from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the gallery at 73 Main St. in Oneonta. The spring exhibit at Main View, a program of The Arc Otsego, is in celebration of National Developmental Dis- ability Awareness Month. “The Big Picture” is an ex- ploration of space, composi- tion, texture, detail and color on large surfaces. Working with gallery staff and teaching artists Terry Fox, Walter Gurbo and Cristina Toro, Main View Gallery art- ists created large works inspired by nature and still life. Regular gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The exhibit will be up through May 20.
