BLENDING IN: Above and at right, law offices are seen in homes along
"Lawyers Row," an area of several blocks near downtown Las Vegas
where law offices have opened in homes. Private residences sit
alongside the business offices in some cases (opposite page, bottom),
though the buildings are frequently distinguishable by adornments
such as a lion statue (opposite page, top).
"The area is unique, and I love
that each house is different.
Everything isn't beige or taupe
or tan. My only complaint is
that it's too dark at night. There
aren't enough street lights. By
5:30 p.m., the street is clear and
all the cars are gone."

lawyers row area of downtown las vegas
