It is hard to believe that a New Year is upon us already. I am not quite sure yet what happened to 2013! Last year saw great things for Diversity Rules and for me personally. The print edition has been quite successful and new forays into the digital world were forged with Diversity Rules becoming available in the "APP" world on I-Tunes and Google Play for Android. All in all it was a great year for the magazine. As always though subscriptions and advertisers and the periodic "benefactor" are always welcome! The December subscription special of $10.95 has been extended through January so if you haven't yet subscribed this is a great time to do it and get $4.00 off the regular subscription price of $14.95. Due to increasing costs, as usual, the cover price for individual cop- ies has been increased to $2.95, which still is a great deal compared to most other publications. The January issue features a fine man by the name of Badar. He is a budding film actor/filmmaker born in Pakistan and lived in the United Arab Emirates as a child. Badar's feature is Diversity Rules' first venture into dealing with diversity in a general sense, as Badar's sexual orientation is unknown. Badar's feature explores his experiences as an actor and director and the challenges he faced as a Pakastaki born individual in the United States pursuing a film and acting career. Badar's feature should prove to be an interesting and enlightening story of overcoming challenges to pursue one's dreams and aspirations I hope you have a Happy and Joyous New Year. May 2014 bring you success and opportunity in all aspects of your lives. Inside This Issue (partial listing) Keep Up Now ..................................................
