As a painter I feel the limitations of my abilities, with my camera those limitations disappear. My love for French Im- pressionism has influenced my paintings from the start. My philosophy mim- ics that of the artists of the Impressionism era. Thus meaning, the art I create, is only as good as the impression it leaves on the viewer. The subject matter in which I work is increas- ingly diverse. I classify myself as a freestyle artist, meaning my subject matter is always changing. My love for painting has led me to explore and stretch my limits of creation.” _ Excerpt from Kraft’s artist statement SEE HER WORK: ‘This Old Store,’ photograph Kraft’s work may be seen in a show with Tina Phetteplace at the Chenango County Council fo the Arts Mareia Brown and Raymond Loft Galleries at 27 W.
