The MyRange Research Study is evaluating if an investigational medication typically used to lower blood uric acid levels in adults with gout, can also treat high blood pressure. If you're at least 18 years old, have uncontrolled* blood pressure and high uric acid levels,** you may qualify for the MyRange Study. A research study is being conducted in your area for an investigational inhaled medication for COPD. If you are a current or ex-smoker and 40 years of age or older you may qualify to participate. All study-related care is provided at no charge, including physical exams, lab tests, and study medication. Compensation for time and travel may be available for those who qualify. If you answered yes to these questions - you may be eligible to take part in a research study to test an investigational medication for type 2 diabetes. Participants who qualify will receive study medications, study supplies, study exams, lab tests and you may receive reimbursement for time and travel. DESCRIBE YOU? Consider the following criteria for possible participation in a local clinical research study: • Men 50 years of age or older • Women 55 years of age or older • Diagnosed with gout • History of major cardiovascular disease (includes stroke, blocked arteries, diabetes) Qualified participants will receive study medication and study-related medical care at no cost.
