Fred Woller
About the Artist

O-Town Scene Dec. 5, 2013
Many people know Fred Woller as a longtime trustee on
the Village Board, as well as having served as Planning
Committee Chairman and Zoning Board Member in the
village of Fleischmanns. Others know him as a substitute
teacher, EMT volunteer and carpenter specializing in old
houses and decorative cabinets. But not everyone knows
that Woller has been showing his sculptures for more
than a decade, and more recently showing and selling
his large paintings.
Fred began painting in earnest after his artwork was
adopted as the logo for "Ride-and-Peak" bike race sponsored by the M-ARK Project. At that time he began painting his bicycle series which allowed him the freedom to
play with shapes and color with increasing freedom of
movement and feeling. Many of these paintings will be
on exhibit at his upcoming show at Zoom Gallery.
An exhibit of Woller's paintings titled "My Point of View"
is on display at Zoom Gallery at 1164 Main St. in Fleischmanns through Dec. 29. The gallery is open 10:30 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays.
