Art People Stephanie Rozene Stephanie Rozene is assistant professor of art and the ceramics studio head at Hartwick College. She holds an M.F.A in ceramics and craft history. She has shown work nation- ally and internationally, most recently at NCECA 2010 in Philadelphia in a show titled “DIS/ARMING Domesticity” curated by Gail Brown. She is dedicated to the advancement and development of the field of craft history and theory and in particular the use of historical ornament as a visual language. “In this global cultural Helping through ceramics Rozene is involved with a project called “Empty Bowls,” which aims to raise money and awareness in an ef- fort to end hunger and food insecurity.
