Pizza Pizza Pizza! Bite it. Pizza, that is. Oneonta is home of the cold-cheese pizza, roni rolls and more pizza options per capita than any other city in the country (based on our unofficial research). We’ve put together a guide of 9 places where you can get a slice. We know there are plenty of other places that serve pizza, but we only have so much room. O-town Scene STREET TEAM members went out and did the hard research of taste-testing Oneonta’s pies. Here’s what they found. Photos by Tiffany Doris, unless otherwise noted. Specialty pizza: Veggie ($3.50) red sauce, breaded eggplant, onion, roasted red and green peppers, not a lot of cheese. Plain cheese: ($2) Cheese is dominant; crust is pretty dry, buy chewy and thin; slice is pretty big, “as long as my forearm.” It’s good value for the cost. Not too fancy, but “satisfying.”
