Joe was born August 29, 1935 in Rutherford County to the late Archie Kimbrell and Lillian Phillips Kimbrell. He worked at the Gilkey Convenience Center for many years and for Eternal Hills Memorial Park for 13 years. JHe was a past member of Alexander United Methodist Church and attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. In addition to his par- ents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Joyce Beheler Kimbrell and Linda Clark Kimbrell; broth- ers, Kenneth and Tommy Kimbrell; sister, Nancy Kimbrell; stepson, Tony Swink and a granddaughter, Amber Swink. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Joan Kimbrell; brothers, James Kimbrell of Rutherfordton and Earl Kimbrell of Sandy Mush; stepchildren, Renee Pettit (Freddie) of Duncan, SC, Roger Swink of Forest City, Kelly Greene of PA, Heath Greene (Tina) of Sumter, SC, Randy Swink of Sandy Mush; 15 grandchil- dren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held December 19 at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Bonnie Diane Harrill Bonnie Diane Harrill, 67, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023. She was born to the late Rufus Harrill and Clara Sisk Harrill. She is also pre- deceased by son, Charles Anthony "Tony" Tessneer; sisters, Mona H. Pruett, Maratha Harrill and Judith H. Fielder; nephews, Venn Strange Paul Harrill and Cabin Fielder. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Aleesha J. Morris and friend, Chris Bridges of Shelby; sisters, Carrie H. Bridges of Shelby and Sheena H. Anthony of Boling Springs; three grandsons, one grand- daughter, several nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service is serving the family. Kaye Stafford Linder Kaye Linder, age 73, of Forest City passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023. Kaye was a native of Virginia, retired from Broyhill Furniture Company and a member of Pilgrim's Way Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Vance and Tennie Duncan Stafford and sisters, Linda Shue, Hazel Atchley, Edna Atkins and Doris Atchley and broth- ers J.D. Tolley and Junior Talley. Those left to cherish her memory include her sis- ters Susan Ford and Faye Smith along with a number of nieces and nephews. A family directed memorial service was held December 16 at Pilgrim's Way Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Stafford offi- ciating. Gary Daniel Eaker Gary Daniel Eaker, 61, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023. He was born to the late Max Dean Eaker, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Carpenter Eaker in Lincoln County. He is also predeceased by his wife, Angela Paxton Eaker; brothers, Michael Steven Eaker and Max Dean Eaker, Jr. Left to cherish his memories are his broth- ers, Roger Scott Eaker and Timothy Mark Eaker both of Cherryville; sister, Susan Eaker Daniels (Dave) of Matthews. Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service is serving the family. Ina Cooper Ina Cooper, affection- ately known as "Boots," departed this life December 13, 2023, at the age of 91. Born in 1932 to Jack and Inez Morrow Carpenter. For 55 years, Boots shared a profound and enduring love with her late husband, Paul Cooper. A dedicated professional, she served as a retired supervisor for the Tanner Corporation. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Wanda Wilson (Donnie) and Donna Skipper (Boyce), sis- ters, Doris Harrison, Sandra Byers, and Judy Cline, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her hus- band, Boots was preceded in death by her siblings Jack, Ruth, Paul, Meryl, Steve, and Frances. A celebration of life was held December 18 at Crowe's Mortuary. Rev.
