Lorene was born Thursday, July 17, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Julius McMurry and Estelle Watson McMurry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter; broth- er, Glenn McMurry; and a sister, Barbara McMurry Champion. She is survived by her husband, Donald O'Dell; sons, Bruce O'Dell (Sharon) of Mooresboro, Wayne O'Dell of Ellenboro, Larry "Turkey" O'Dell (Teresa) of Mooresboro and Brian O'Dell (Kristy) of Mooresboro; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; and sisters, Florence McMurry Tesseneer of Forest City and Lillie McMurry Smith of Ellenboro. The funeral service was held October 26, 2023, at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Frank Camp and Mr. Brian O'Dell officiat- his siblings: Noah, Skylar, Willow, Derek Jr., and Topanga; his grandparents; and great grandparents. Urijah was preceded in death by a great-grandmoth- er and a great-grandfather; and his maternal great- grandmother. She was born in Cleveland County, on November 18, 1980. She is preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Priscilla Hillman and husband Paul; seven stepbrothers, Paul Hillman, Jr., Demetris Hillman, Ryan Hillman, DJ Merck, Anthony Leon, Aron Rojas, and Rocky Hendrix; and seven stepsisters, Alyssa Cape, Kelly Hendrix, Melissa Leon, Rosie Leon, Kim Houser, Bre Hendrix, and Michelle Houser. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his four brothers, Allen, Steve, Ned and Neal Cabiness and a sister Patsy Ann Black.
