12 October 22 - 28, 2023 | Entertainment Now The Late Show With Stephen Colbert The FBI's dress code for the [Mar-a-Lago raid] event was indictment casual. A handful of agents went in suits, "but most wore T-shirts" and "cargo pants." Yeah, so good luck getting your dad to change his outfit now! Right after the FBI raid, the term "civil war" started trending on Twitter, which can only mean one thing: the civil war is dating Pete Davidson. Apparently, the FBI raid [on Mar-a-Lago] was all part of an ongoing investigation launched by the National Archives and Records Administration. That's right, [Trump]'s going to get taken down by the librarians! They're coming for you, baby! They're organized, they know where everything is and you never know which way they're coming because they're so quiet. We have learned that the DC Comics film "Batgirl" will be completely shelved by Warner Bros., which means they will not be releasing the movie on any platform. ... You almost never see a movie studio bail on a project like this completely — especially since they've already spent an estimated $90 million, which they are now taking as a tax write-up. [This] explains Warner Bros.' next movie: "The Deductible Hulk." The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon A painting of a woman from 1860 is going viral because people think she's walking while texting on an iPhone. The name of the painting is "Getting a DM from Adam Levine." You've got to hand it to [Donald] Trump, though. He has endless scandals for six years and he always manages to keep them feeling fresh and new. Yeah, the action never stops. It's like if Discovery ran "Shark Week" 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Just a thought, but if the government doesn't want people reading [top secret] files, maybe they shouldn't label them 'top secret.' It's like a guy labeling a porn folder on his computer 'best porn.' It's like, just call it 'banana bread recipe.' Snoop Dogg launched his very first breakfast cereal, called 'Snoop Loopz.' ... But he's not the only rapper launching his own breakfast cereal. ... There's also 'Sa-Wheaties,' next there's '2 Charmz' and finally, of course, 'Drake-Nuts.' Jimmy Kimmel Live! with Nicole Byer I'm your guest host, Nicole Byer. I'm an actress and standup comedian. I host four podcasts, as well as "Wipeout" on TBS and "Nailed It" on Netflix ... [I'm in] "Grand Crew" on NBC and yet, somehow, Jimmy [Kimmel] is the one who needs a vacation. At least one case of polio has been reported in New York City, and health experts believe it could end up here in L.A. very soon. So, that's fun, right? How is polio making a comeback? Polio feels like a disease that you should only be able to catch in a black-and-white movie. Didn't we get rid of polio in, like, the '50s? Why can't we bring back the fun stuff from the '50s, like potato sack races [and] smoking on airplanes? According to a new study, there has never been a worse time to be a single man: "Younger and middle- aged men are the loneliest they've been in generations." ... Now that I think about it, we can't have all these depressed straight guys on the loose; that's how insurrections happen. And murders. And podcasts! Not only is it harder to meet someone right now, it's also more expensive. New research found that 42% of singles have started going on cheaper dates because the cost of living has gotten so high. ... Here in L.A., one of the go-to moves is to ask a woman out for a hike, which is, like, not OK. We're dating; we're not Lewis and Clark discovering Montana. Late Night With Seth Meyers After Adele canceled her Las Vegas residency dates at Caesar's Palace earlier this year [2022], she told her fans she was "heartbroken to have to cancel them." On the bright side, that probably means you'll hear a couple of new songs. Sudoku Fill in the grid so that every row, every column, and every 3x3 box contains the digits 1 through 9.
