A view of Main Street in West Bend, facing north, from behind the Main Street and 6th Avenue
intersection. On the left side of the street you can see the historic Washington House, built in
1852 by Balthazar Goetter to serve as a hotel and meeting space, and 6th Ave Barbecue Pit
and Bar, 228 N. 6th Ave. Further down the road on the left you can see The Antidote, 302 N.
Main St., on the corner of Main Street and Cedar Street. On the right hand side you can see
the sign for Saloon Royale, 241 N. Main St., a bar with a Vegas-style contemporary interior
design. In the distance, you can see West Bend's newest apartment complex, The District,
which is across Highway 33.
