More Info: Come meet several of the adopt- able dogs that are available from Clifford's Army Rescue. We will have many different dogs, from all ages, shapes and sizes. We will be right out front. Come on out and meet these wonderful rescues who are looking for their forever homes. Please note, we do Not do same day adoptions, so if you are looking to adopt an adorable new family member and want to take home the same day, you need to fi ll out an adoption application now, ahead of the event, AND get preapproved. Where: River Bend YMCA Golf Course More Info: Paul Porter Memorial Golf Tournament to benefi t the Cleveland Rutherford Kidney Association. Four person teams, Captain Choice. Will serve lunch. Cost is $240 per team. Saturday September 30 What: Cleveland Lincoln County Rose Show When: 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, September 30. Where: Cleveland County Extension Offi ce, 130 S. Entries are accepted from 6-10 a.m. After judging, the rose show opens to the public and everyone is invited from 1 - 4 p.m. to view the beautiful Roses, Rose Arrangements and Photo contest. At 4 p.m., all Hybrid Tea and long stem cut roses entries will be sold 3/$1.00 and Miniature/Miniafl ora roses will be 4/$1.00. All roses must go, so bring your buck- ets and purchase some beautiful cut roses to share with family and friends. Rose entries are open to anyone with home grown roses.
