Jim Koury is a seeker of personal truth, and desires to empower oth- ers to find their own personal truth, whatever it may be. He is also an ac vist who is not afraid to speak his mind, and ruffle some feath- ers, if necessary. His main objec ve is to get people to think and think for themselves. He espouses Aristotle's mantra, "It is the mark of an educated mind to en- tertain a thought without accep ng it." Jim does not force his views on others but just puts them out there for folks to think about and discard if they wish. Welcome to the September issue of Diversity Rules Magazine. We are trudging right along are we not? Holy cow! Fall is soon upon us. This month's feature is about Stewart Taylor, and his new release en tled, "Favorite Ex." Stewart has been in Diversity Rules before, but never as a featured art- ist. We welcome him, and hope his new release does well! In his latest single release, "Favorite Ex," our ar st Stewart Taylor sings about an old flame he regret- fully had to ex nguish. "We ended things when I le New York to pursue my career in Los Angeles," he explains. "We both knew life would eventually take me out West and that our me together was limited, but I o en wonder what would've been had I stayed." The song merges eigh es vibes with today's pop and R&B and is the second ballad Stewart Taylor has wri en about his former lover. His debut single, "Mess Your Hair Up", released in 2019, is about him too. Stewart says that years later, on a phone call, he thanked his ex for being so wonderful and told him that he was in fact, his favorite ex. "I look back and smile about what we had." Produced by Romanian hitmaker MADS (David Gue a, Imagine Dragons), Stewart Taylor's "Favorite Ex" is being distributed independently and is available on Apple Music, Spo- fy, and all digital pla orms. Its video is available on YouTube. Addi onally, there are a lot of other great features and ar cles in the September issue. There are the regulars, Stu Schwartz, Joey Amato, and Diane Lang, along with some new folks, and ar cles of interest. Joey Amato also has a new book out en tled, "Ev- eryday Inves ng." I am sure it is a great read, and very informa ve and enlightening for those who are investors. See you all in, I hate to say it, OCTOBER. Yikes. Have a great end of summer and beginning of fall.
