Edward Daves Lee, 90, of Shelby, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023. Born in Cleveland County, on September 21, 1932, he was a son of the late Edward Yates Lee and Evelyn Daves Lee. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Vera Mae Baldwin Lee; a son, Michael Edward Lee; and two brothers, Bill and Ted Lee. He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Lee Olsen and husband, Kenneth of Shelby and Susan Shelby Lee Morgan and husband, Scott of Greenville, SC; a brother, Dale Lee and wife, Jan of Raleigh; a sister, Lynn Lee-Eldridge and husband, Kevin of Cary; three grand- children; and two great- grandchildren; and his long time friend, Honorii Wells.
