Betty was born Sunday, October 23, 1938 in Rutherford County to the late Zonie Estep and Florence Pintuff Estep. Finger, and David Lewis. He is survived by his wife, Angelia Griffin Goode of the home, his two children, Amber Proctor McMurry (Michael) of Shelby, NC, and Andy Lee Goode (Brandi) of Boiling Springs, NC, five grandchildren, a mother-in- law, Nancy Anthony Poston of Boiling Springs, NC, and a sister, Sandy Alexander (Ronnie) of Mooresboro, NC. Born July 17, 1950, in Cleveland County, NC, Steve was the son of the late Carl Goode and Velma Street Goode. Mr. Goode served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. MARY ELLA BINGHAM TREECE Mary Ella Bingham Treece, 99, of Vale, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. Born in Cleveland County, on October 20, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Gettys David Bingham and Mary Lillie Sain Bingham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Eugene Treece; a son, Marvin Treece; and three brothers, Charles Bingham, Dr. Wayne Bingham and J.D. Bingham. She is survived by her son, Max Treece and wife, Elaine of Charlotte; three grandchildren; and three great granddaughters; three brothers, Dr. Billy Bingham of Fallston, Gettys Bingham, Jr. of Advance and Dr. Carrol Bingham of Knoxville, TN; and a sister, Helen Moretz of Boone. Darrell was born on May 7, 1957 in Cleveland County, the son of Frances Hamrick of Cherryville. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Christopher Camp and a granddaughter.
