Born in Cleveland County, on March 4, 1950, he was a son of the late Manuel Earl Brady and Hattie Lelar Johnson Brady. He is survived by his wife, Kay W. Brady; son, Rodney Brady and wife Hayley of Shelby; daughter, Mandy Best and husband, Brad of Bessemer City; brother, Mike Brady of Shelby; two sisters, Judy Bumgardner of Polkville and Teresa McFarland of Casar; and seven grandchildren. The funeral service was held Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Devine, Rev. Jimmy Black and Rev. Toby Bird officiat- ing. He was born in Cleveland County to the late Buren and Grace Hamrick. He is predeceased by his brother, Joe Hamrick, and sisters, Louise Harris, Daisy Wylie, and Elsie Dixon; and his son, Michael Hamrick. Left to cherish his memories is his spouse, Katie Hamrick; his sons, Craig Hamrick and wife Joy, Kevin Hamrick and wife Angie; six grandchildren; and three great-grandsons; his brother, Jimmy Hamrick; and sister, Evelyn Walker. Mr. Hamrick served our country in the U.S. Air Force. A Memorial Service was held June 30, 2023 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Mooresboro, NC. A Celebration of Life followed. Beth was the daughter of the late Richard Lee Wilson and Matril Hopper Wilson. Beth is survived by her hus- band, Alan Wilkie; son, Jason Turner; and brothers, Keith (Robin) Wilson and Shawn Wilson.
