"Creo que el orgullo significa vivir auténtica y verdaderamente a lo que eres y ocupar espacios que tradicio- nalmente no han sido nuestros para que otros puedan ver una oportuni- dad en sí mismos y en el futuro sin importar quiénes sean. Creo que eso es lo que el orgullo significa para mí. Creo que es importante porque cuando se nos ve en estos espacios que no han sido tradicionalmente nuestros, estos niños más pequeños y las generaciones más jóvenes pu- eden aspirar a ser el próximo alcalde o el próximo jugador de fútbol profe- sional", comentó Alex García. "El mes de junio en Estados Unidos está lleno de celebraciones y campa- ñas de sensibilización.
