Come hang out and pet some wonderful pooches while shopping locally and friendly. Clifford's Army Rescue will be there with some of their adoptable dogs for you to meet. C.A.R.E (Clifford's Army Rescue Extravaganza) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofi t, all volunteer, dog rescue organization. Saturday, July 8 Saturday, July 8 What: C.A.R.E.'s PET 'N SIP IS BACK When: Noon until 5:00 pm, July 8. Where: Baker Buffalo Creek Vineyards & Winery, 3521 Fallston Waco Rd., Lawndale, NC. More Info: Come meet some of the CARE doggies available for future adoption. (NOTE, NO same day pet adoption.) The pups are excited to meet and greet you! You can relax with a cool drink, pet some sweet adoptable doggies, and meet new friends and connect with old buddies. CARE doggies will be there 12 to 4. We appreciate everyone's support. The awesome Beard-O Brothers food truck will be on-site and the incredible Josh Hudson playing music. How fabulous food, music and puppy dogs! We will be hanging out in the back, near the mule barn, with a splash pad for the doggies and the shade of the grand oak trees providing shade for all. Come enjoy a glass of wine (or two), great food, fellow- ship, and music and lots of puppy dog love. This will be a fun afternoon and we hope you will come join us. Tuesday, July 4 Tuesday, July 4 What: Lattimore's Annual 4th of July Celebration When: 9:00 am, July 4. Where: Towery Rd., Lattimore, NC. The parade will line up at 8:30 am. More Info: Town of Lattimore's annual 4th of July Celebration and Parade. Celebrate your freedom by being a part of the Lattimore Fourth of July Celebration! The parade will begin at 9:00 am and will feature fl oats, tractors, horses, antique cars, go carts, and much more. At the conclusion of the parade, a patriotic program and entertainment will be featured at the recreation park of Lattimore Baptist Church. Concessions and lunch will be sold by the Lattimore Baptist Youth Department to raise funds for youth projects. This year's entertainment will be provided by country/gospel quartet, Carolina the Band. Entries are needed for the parade! Businesses, families, and individuals desiring to enter fl oats, cars, etc. in the parade should line up on Towery Road at 8:30 am.
