Mr. Camp served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. Bob was born Thursday, July 20, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late Samuel James Henson and Fannie Belle Greene Henson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Henson; four brothers, Bill, Dick, Jerry and John Henson; and three sisters, Jean Robbins, Jo Henson and Nell Hardin. He was the son of the late Fred Hilton Evans and Adrian Lemons Evans. Steve worked in printing all of his life and also retired from #3 Fire Department. After Retirement, he continued working at the Cleveland County Fair and Lake Houser Campground where he made countless friends who became family. He enjoyed making arrow heads, panning for gold and fishing but the joy of his life was his precious children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Roger Evans, II; two brothers, Wilburn Evans and Raymond Evans; a sis- ter, Joyce Evans and a great granddaughter, Alani Furrow. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Martha Moses Evans; daughter, Tracy Lugo (Ben) of SC; step-son, Billy Fredell (Gina) of Shelby; step- daughter, Tonyia F. Born in Cleveland County, on May 29, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Henry Horner and Hattie Wilkie Horner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Hamrick; son-in-law, Barney Beam; two step sons, Max and Jimmy Hamrick; two brothers, J.D. Horner and Gene Horner (Jeanette) and a sister, Margaret Barrett (Marvin). Survivors include two sons, Douglas Hamrick (Karen) of Shelby and Ben David Hamrick (Grace) of Shelby; two daughters, Patricia Beam of Lawndale and Paula Jones (Marty) of Patterson Springs; six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
