Everything that had happened to her was, "for such a time as this." Many times, in life we wonder what our purpose is or why we are in a certain place. Have you ever thought that God has placed you where you are to do what you do in accordance with his sovereign plan and to make a difference? I am convinced that in God's world there is no such thing as coincidence or happenchance. The people you know and the events that take place in your life are ordered by a wise and all-knowing God. As free moral agents, we must yield ourselves to His purposes and plan. Queen Esther was challenged by Mordecai to act on behalf of her people. She used her infl uence to deliver God's children from the great atrocity of ethnic cleansing. Every day we have an opportunity to say or do something that can change a person's life. It may be a kind word of encouragement or an act of benevolence. You are here, "for such a time as this." I wonder how many times we have walked past opportunities and never ever noticed those around us. We must be tender to God's leading and ask Him to make us aware of the people who providentially cross our path. It is certain, that God has placed us in those situations, "for such a time as this."
