During his presenta on, he spoke of his many experiences, including the nega ves and posi ves, of having an OF site. I screwed up by not taking notes and by fail- ing to immediately recognize what a great column his story would make. I contacted Dean and fortunately, he agreed to meet with me so I could learn about him and his work as an OF performer. Here's what I found out. In addi on to being a life coach and a professional speaker, Dean held full- me corporate-level em- ployment. When his major employment suddenly stopped he decided to bare it all on OF. This was a bit for financial reasons but also an answer to his need to iden fy himself and to do something that would sa sfy his passion. Although older than most OF the presenters, Dean realized that you don't need to be twenty to be sexy and that mature guy can be quite successful prac c- ing their exhibi onism. I checked out his site and be- lieve me he is hot. I'm sure part of that is quite natu- ral and credit has to be given to the commitment he made at age forty-nine to working out with weights, a ending fitness classes, and se ng goals such as doing daily exercises. He politely bragged that he does fi y-eight pushups without stopping every day. Hmmm, he never said but maybe he's fi y-eight? In his teens, Dean loved watching swimmers in their speedos and he was fascinated watching the stun- ning guys on TV during Olympic compe ons. In the 80's Dean dreamed of being a Chippendale dancer. It was during that me that he began going to the beach wearing a ny thong and he became "sexu- ally charged" when he saw others checking him out. Then he got on his bike to ride in a World Naked Bike Ride event—that cemented his desire to bare it all for others to see and admire. He learned about Only Fans from several of his Ins- tagram middle-aged friends. At that me Dean had twenty-thousand Instagram followers so with a cou- ple of announcements he quickly garnered an audi- ence for his new paysite. (You're probably shocked that I logged in to see Dean perform on OF. Well of course I did and let me tell you—he's a delight to watch. This is way beyond his photos on Instagram and it's worth the fee.) We then got into any hesita ons he's had regarding his OF work. The first thing Dean men oned was that he was worried about family and friends finding out. But he had a good solu on—he told everyone. His revela on was met with applause from some and simple acceptance or no response from others. There were no horrible or nega ve reac ons. He and his partner are out in the gay community and many of their friends are his best supporters. Dean added that with OF there's no fear about losing a job; he is in control. And he added with enthusi- asm that it's refreshing for him to no longer be part of corporate America.
