The Rotary Club of Santa Cruz is pleased to announce that more than $64,000 in academic scholarships have been awarded to 38 students (15 second-year and 23 first-year scholars). All students fill out an application and are required to demonstrate excellent academic performance and "Service Above Self" in the local community. The Rotary Club of Santa Cruz scholarship program was started 39 years ago and has an endowment that has grown to over $1.4M, including 25 Named Scholarships. To date, over $1M has been awarded to more than 780 Santa Cruz area students.
