They pursue items that have that otherworldly sense attached, but so does a villain (Hugh Grant) who wants the same objects to use in his pursuit of world domination. As should be expected, special effects play a major role in what transpires. Rege-Jean Page ("Bridger- ton") and Sophia Lillis also appear. DVD extras: six "making-of" documentaries; deleted and extended scenes; outtakes. (PG-13: P, V) (Also on Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, Digital and On Demand) "Suddenly, there we are on this huge tour [with Little Richard], and Mick and I would try to find our way up to the rafters in the theaters and watch him [Little Richard] from above, see how he operated. It was an insight on how hard you'd have to work if you wanted to do this stuff. And he did it with a beautiful nonchalance — it was high-powered, but you always had the feeling there was more in the tank. It was a real lesson in stage craft, especially since we had never seen a stage before. That whole tour was a university of rock 'n roll." - Keith Richards, as seen in "American Masters: Little Richard - King and Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" airing on PBS "I don't think it's ever been a love story between Barry and Sally. At worst, I'd say it's been convenience, and at best it's been survival — but never a love story." - "Barry" actress Sarah Goldberg, in an interview with Variety, about her character Sally's relationship with Barry (played by Bill Hader) "I think it's the right time to end it in terms of the struggle to see who's going to take command of this empire. A fifth season would have been drawn out, and if it just faded away, that would have been a disgrace." - Alan Ruck, in an inter- view with Empire, about "Succession" ending after four seasons BY JAY BOBBIN Family Viewing Ratings AS Adult situations P Profanity V Violence N Nudity GV Graphic Violence "A GOOD PERSON" Zach Braff was making his own movies while he was on television's "Scrubs," and he gets back behind the cameras with this deeply emotional drama. The film's writer and director, he gives the central role to Florence Pugh as a woman who becomes involved in a car accident in which two future in-laws of hers die. She was behind the wheel, and she grapples with immense guilt as she deals with the deceased cou - ple's daughter (Celeste O'Connor) and that teenager's grandfather (an expert-as-always Morgan Freeman). Chinaza Uche, Molly Shannon and Zoe Lister-Jones ("Life in Piec- es") also appear. *** (R: AS, P) (Also on Blu-ray and On Demand) "65" That's 65 as in "65 million years ago," the period in which this fantasy-adventure is set. The story combines elements of the past and future as "Star Wars" franchise veteran Adam Driver returns to an inter- galactic environment by playing a space traveler left alone when his vessel crashes, killing almost all of his companions. He's redeemed from total desperation by a youngster (Ariana Greenblatt) he vows to protect, channeling the feelings he had for the seriously ill daughter he left behind to undertake the mission. Dinosaurs are among the dangers faced by the duo as they become aware that an asteroid is in a collision course with Earth. Scott Beck and Bryan Woods shared writing and directing duties on the sci-fi thriller. *** (PG-13: P, V) (Also on Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, Digital and On Demand) "RAIN MAN" Dustin Hoffman won his second Oscar for best actor for director Barry Levinson's superb 1988 film, making its 4K Ultra HD debut. Hoffman has one of his most iconic roles as Raymond, an autistic savant who meets his car-selling huckster brother Char- lie (Tom Cruise). The latter wants to milk that newly discovered familial connection for any financial benefit he can get out of it, in the aftermath of their father's death, but he develops different feelings during a road trip shared by the siblings. Valeria Golino also appears in the picture, which went a long way toward building Cruise's credibil- ity as an adult star of true character pieces, not just escapist fare. **** (R: AS, P) "CLIFFHANGER" One of Sylvester Stallone's most popular and successful movies outside the "Rocky" and "Rambo" franchises returns to home video in a 4K Ultra HD Steelbook edition. The star plays a mountain rescue ranger who goes AWOL after experiencing an on-the-job tragedy, and when he returns, his path crosses that of criminals trying to recover a fortune stolen from the U.S, Trea - sury and lost in a failed mid-air transfer. The result is bountiful action, supposedly set in Colorado but actually filmed large- ly in Italy by director Renny Harlin ("Die Hard 2"). John Lithgow chews scenery enjoyably as the main villain in a cast that also includes Michael Rooker, Janine Turner, Ralph Waite, Caroline Goodall, Rex Linn ("Big Sky") and Paul Winfield. A remake involving Stallone reportedly is in the works. *** (R: AS, P, V) "TULSA KING: SEASON 1" (JUNE 6) "THE EVENT: THE COMPLETE SERIES" (JUNE 6) "JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4" (JUNE 13) "THE LAST OF US: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON" (JULY 18) "SWAMP THING" (4K ULTRA HD) (JULY 25) Hugh Grant as Forge in "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" Regé-Jean Page as Xenk in "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves"
