Pinnacle Classical Acad- emy will compete against Christian Family Academy (Conover) in the conference semifinals at Landmark Bap- tist on Tuesday, May 16, at 4:30. Long Shoals Wes- leyan Academy (Lincolnton) is hosting the other semifinal game on May 16. The win- ners of the semifinal games will meet in the champion- ship game two days later. "Pinnacle Classical Acad- emy is honored to host the WPAC softball champion- ship this year," said Dr. Shelly Shope, the school's headmaster. "We're so grateful for the partner- ship with Landmark Baptist Church that has made this possible." Pinnacle Classical Acad- emy's spring varsity athletics teams are also competing in Western Piedmont Athletic Conference tournaments in baseball, golf, and women's soccer. Founded in 2013, Pin- nacle Classical Academy attracts 1,137 students from five counties. The school's 38 seniors have been offered a combined $6,833,212 in four-year aca- demic merit scholarships.
