While the 1992 film starred Woody Harrelson ("True Detective") and Wes- ley Snipes ("Blade," 1998) as the original streetball hustlers, this new iteration stars multi-platinum rap superstar Jack Harlow ("First Class") in his film debut, alongside "American Soul," "Power" and "Teen Wolf" star Sinqua Walls as Jeremy and Kamal. While Jeremy is a former basketball star whose career was stalled by injuries, Kamal is a once-promising player who derailed his own future in the sport. As the pair of hustlers take on the Los Angeles courts, the two — seemingly completely opposite — men learn they may have more in common than they could have ever imagined. "Queenmaker: The Making of an It Girl" (2023) Unmask the work of New York's elite with Hulu's new original documentary "Queenmaker: The Making of an It Girl" when it premieres Wednesday, May 17. Offer- ing a fascinating look into the world of Manhattan's wealthiest inhabitants and the now-defunct "Park Avenue Peerage" blog that took New York City by storm, "Queenmaker" looks at the height of the city's "heiress era" of the early aughts. As an anonymous blogger infiltrated Manhattan's elite, bringing socialite celebrity statuses to new heights with their salacious insights, the true identity of the website's creator and mastermind was not who anybody would have ever expected. "Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" (2023) After taking the big screen by storm in February, this tiny superhero shrinks his way to the small screen when "Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantuma- nia" releases to stream, Wednesday, May 17, on Disney+. This third movie in the Ant-Man franchise marks the official launch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's "Phase 5," with the end of "Phase 4" being 2022's "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever." The sequel continues in a world post-Thanos-snap and post-snap-reversal, in which Scott Lang (Paul Rudd, "I Love You, Man," 2009) has been reunited with his daughter, Cassie (Kathryn Newton, "Big Little Lies," replacing Emma Fuhrmann from "Avengers: Endgame," 2019), and his partner, Hope Van Dyne, aka: The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly, "South of Heaven," 2021). From creator Shea Serrano ("Hip Hop: The Songs That Shook America"), "Primo" is a single-camera coming-of-age comedy inspired by Serrano's own experiences growing up in San Antonio. The series fol- lows teenager Rafa Gonzales (Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, "A Good Person," 2023), who is being raised in the city by his mother, Drea (Christina Vidal, "The Terminal List"), and his five overbearing uncles — Rollie (Johnny Rey Diaz, "Grey's Anatomy"), Mike (Henri Esteve, "Grown- ish"), Ryan (Carlos Santos, "Gentefied"), Jay (Jonathan Medina, "Walker: Independence") and Mondo (Efrain Villa, "Better Call Saul"). As Rafa nears the end of high school, finds the girl of his dreams and works on his very real chance to be the first person in his family to go to college, "Primo" finds Rafa, his family, his friends (and his crush) affecting each other's lives in unex- pected ways, helping them all to grow whether they like it or not. "Selling Sunset" - Season 6 The hustle to be the best and brightest in California's luxury real estate market continues when Season 6 of the smash-hit reality series "Selling Sunset" premieres on Netflix Friday, May 19.
