Spindale Elementary principal Tamara Black handed trophies to the winners in the judged show and thanked them for coming to support the school. Two trophies went to Butch Cash owner of a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. The car was judged Best In Show and also was selected as the Principal's choice. Johnnie Adkins posed for a picture with some of the school's staff who helped plan and organize the event and secured numerous door prizes that were won by participants. As always Johnnie played some classic music to complement the event. This is an opportunity for everyone to get outside and enjoy the Thermal Belt Rail Trail this June for the Town of Spindale's 100th anniversary "Spin-Tennial Sports Showcase." It's a family-friendly event, bound to be all- around fun with bikes, lawn games, food, and drinks. Whether looking for a relaxing social event or to physically challenge yourself, Spin-tennial has something for everyone, said Isaac. Register for the 100K or personal best challenge on a personal bike to get a t-shirt and biker snap band, have photo with distance, and maybe win some prizes. All are welcome to join the fun, but only registrants are eligible for prizes at the end of the day. Registration ends on June 3. Sign-up today to be a part of this awesome event.
