"Stone Cold Takes on America" premieres Sunday, April 30, on A&E. The newest addition to WWE's Superstar Sunday lineup finds Austin far from the ring, as he takes his trusty RV to the road for a cross- country adventure unlike anything he's done before. At each stop along the way, Aus- tin dives headfirst into a new (for him) once-in-a-lifetime experience, pushing his limits and testing his skills as he takes on unusual challenges. In the show's trailer, Austin showcases a few of his new talents: drift racing, bowling, bartending, axe throwing, flying a helicopter, anchoring the news and even working as a fast-food employee. A&E's news release for the 10-part series takes it further, describing the importance of Austin's latest venture: "For over two decades, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin gave ev- erything to wrestling, becom- ing one of the all-time greats. However, his dedication to his career meant sacrificing many of the other experienc- es life has to offer. Through archival footage from classic WWE moments and his own stories, the series weaves to- gether Austin's old and new life — both filled with incred- ible feats and his unique point of view — as he cele- brates and learns from new experiences how only 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin can."
