7-29: YuleTIDE River Ride
Celebrate the YuleTIDE spirit with a spec-
tacular night-time display of holiday-dressed
vessels! On Christmas in July Weekend (July
28-30), boats from across the region are
invited to join together on the Manasquan
River for a boat decorating competition and
parade. Registered boats will be decorated in
a holiday-themed fashion and follow a parade
route up and down the river with a chance
to win a cash prize for the best decorated
vessel, voted on by the public! This event is
hosted by the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber
of Commerce and BoardDash and is gener-
ously supported by many local businesses. A
portion of the proceeds will be donated to a
charity working with Christmas in July efforts.

8-12: 8th Annual "Lanterns On The
Lake" At Twilight Lake In Bay Head
Set your personal lantern afloat on this in-
spiring evening where you can express your-
self artistically, pay tribute to a loved one,
or simply make new friends! Lanterns must
be pre-purchased ($10.) beginning June 1
at The Coastal Cottage, 64 Bridge Avenue,
Bay Head. The proceeds will provide four
Bay Head Elementary School art and science
enthusiasts with art and science supplies as
well as funding for future plans of the BHBA
Beatification Committee. Rain date: 8-13-23.
