Born in Cleveland County, NC on February 11, 1981, he was the son of Sandra Jarrett Hudson and the late Steve Allen McKee. In addition to his moth- er, he is survived by his daughter, Morgan McKee of Shelby; son, Nathan A. McKee, Jr of Shelby; two stepdaughters, Jessica Arrowood and Melody Short both of Shelby; a brother, Steven Tyler McKee; and six grandchildren. FRANCES FRADY BEASON Frances Frady Beason, 82, of Forest City, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. Frances was born Thursday, October 24, 1940 in Rutherford County to the late Claude Frady and Ann Camp Frady. In addition to her par- ents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Beason and stepson, Robbie Beason. Those left to cher- ish her memory include her daughter, Lisa Spake of Forest City; two sons, Duane Scoggins of Bostic and Tracey Beason (Joyce Parker) of Forest City; sis- ter, Libby Jackson of Shelby; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; step- daughter, Paula Greene; and two step-grandchildren. Born in Cleveland County, on February 3, 1933, he was the son of the late Sankie Lee Greene and Susie Woof Greene. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Fowler and May White and a niece Linda Mayhew. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hamrick Greene; sister-in-law, Doris Dedmon and husband Charles; and brother-in-law, Hershel Hamrick. The funeral service was held March 30, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Toby Bird officiating. The burial followed the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
