A new single-family home neighborhood is taking shape in the Cambrian area of San Jose, but unless you know where to look, you may never know it is there. Designed by Robson Homes, a San Jose-based builder with nearly 35 years of homebuilding heritage in Silicon Valley, Rose- wood at Camden Park is tucked away off of Union Avenue on Cully Place, a private street that runs adjacent to Camden Park. The neighborhood is essentially a single cul- de-sac of new homes, carefully designed to be a wonderful place to live and play. "It feels like its own private neighborhood here," says Charles Bald- win, director of sales for Robson Homes. "With the park next door, the Los Gatos mountains in the backdrop and this long, wide street lined with beautiful homes, it's truly a wonderful set- ting." Two floor plans, with numerous architectural distinctions and lot specific customizations, are currently for sale at Rosewood. All homes have four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bath- rooms, and all feature a full bedroom suite on the first floor. The 2,900-square-foot Ascot is a traditional two-story home with a ground- floor bedroom suite and upstairs den. Prices start at $2,850,000. With up to 3,785 square feet, The Claremont offers expansive living with a first-floor study and second-story den, plus a detached two-car garage with a one-bedroom, one-bathroom accessory dwelling unit (ADU) above. The ADU has a full kitchen, bathroom and laundry area, the perfect home for in-laws or to rent out for ad- ditional income. The Claremont homes are priced from $3,285,000. Both The Ascot and The Claremont are fully modeled and open daily for touring. As impressive as the model homes are, what is really remarkable at Rosewood at Camden Park is the quality and finish level of the cur- rently available homes. Robson Homes fo- cused on making each residence unique with distinct architecture, custom details and designer-selected interi- ors that rival any custom home in the market. From the detailed fin- ished carpentry to the hardwood floors, the marble kitchens to the uniquely selected light fixtures, these are truly beautiful, tasteful homes that are simply a cut above other new homes. "In terms of features, finishes and details, these are the highest- end homes we have built," remarks Mark Robson, owner and pres- ident of Robson Homes. "The care and attention given to every selection really stands out. It's something you really need to experience." A few currently avail- able homes are move-in ready, with others sched- uled for completion in the next few months. In addition to luxury-level, designer-selected interi- ors, these homes include everything you need to move right in: a 42-inch built-in refrigerator, Wolf 36-inch induction range and professional hood, dual Thermador dishwashers, full-size washers and dryers, three times the number of city-required solar panels, hookups for EV charging in the garage, multi-zone Nest ther- mostats, and fully land- scaped backyards. Rosewood at Camden Park's sought-after loca- tion in the Cambrian Park area of San Jose is close and convenient to the Apple and Google campuses, Valley Fair, Santana Row, and the San Jose airport. Here, you are just a short drive to The Pruneyard, downtown Campbell, downtown Willow Glen and Los Gatos. The neighborhood is served by the excellent Cam- brian Elementary and Campbell Union High schools, with close prox- imity to many renowned private schools such as The Harker School and Presentation High School. Directions, floor plans and more information about Rosewood at Cam- den Park are available on the builder's website at robsonhomes.com/ neighborhood/rosewood. Content provided by Baywood Property Management The role of nature in home design in the years ahead BY METRO Outdoor living spaces were prioritized during the early days of the COVID-19 pan- demic, when public gatherings were greatly limited and individu- als were urged to stay home as much as pos- sible. Such demands have had a ripple effect on various industries, including home design. According to a survey conducted by the New Home Trends Institute in collaboration with Pro Builder, 58 percent of the more than 300 residential architects, designers and design- minded builders who participated said connec- tion to the outdoors/na- ture will be an important influence on their design choices in the years to come. In addition, 45 percent of respondents indicated increased at- tention will be afforded to outdoor entertaining spaces. So what might the outdoor spaces of homes built in the not-so- distant future look like? Respondents to the sur- vey anticipated a grow- ing demand for various built-in outdoor features, including: • Fire pits or fireplaces • Outdoor kitchens • Gazebos or pergolas • Pools • Spas or hot tubs Although trends and consumer demands are ever shifting, ar- chitects and designers are anticipating that future homeowners will want more developed outdoor living spaces and greater access to nature, which is some- thing current home- owners can keep in mind when renovating their properties.
