The Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department has put together an action-
packed summer full of exciting programs and recreational opportunities. Several
highlights include swimming at the Regner Park swim pond and beach, the
newly-renovated Beach House, new fi eld lights shining brightly over Carl M. Kuss
Memorial Field, and the completion of Phases II & IV of the Downtown Riverwalk
construction.
Once again, we will off er a wide range of recreational programing. These
opportunities include the expanded Learn to Swim programs, Archery, and Little
Hitters Baseball. Sign up early for the popular Pickleball classes and league. A
new adult Birding program kicks off at Lac Lawrann Conservancy in April. This
program will start at Lac Lawrann, and explore various city parks for their
spectacular birding sights.
The West Bend Park system has numerous rental facilities available for private
and corporate events. The newly-remodeled Regner Beach House is now open
and available for private rentals. Lac Lawrann Conservancy off ers an exciting
wedding venue. We also off er a wide variety of open-air pavilions to to meet all of
your entertainment and recreational needs.
We continue to develop our quality-of-life off erings here in the City of West
Bend. Thank you to the many community members that provide support for
recreational opportunities within our community.
