Perez is a results-oriented
strategy professional, with 15
years of experience across fi-
nance strategy, corporate stra-
tegy, management consulting,
and operations. He is recog-
nized for his storytelling, his
ability to structure and solve
complex problems, and his ex-
ceptional organizational skills.
Currently, as a chief of staff
to the CFO, Perez is responsi-
ble for driving the strategy of
the finance organization by
working closely with the diffe-
rent business teams, as well as
developing new frameworks
and analyses to move the thin-
king forward.
Prior to joining Lenovo in
2018, Perez spent six years
in management consulting,
where he worked for Strategy&
(part of PricewaterhouseCoo-
pers) and Argo Consulting (a
boutique management con-
sulting firm). During this time,
he helped clients across mul-
tiple industries gain a com-
petitive advantage through
strategy and operating model
redesign, process and cost op-
timization, and project leader-
ship.
He holds an MBA from the
Kellogg School of Manage-
ment, a bachelor's degree in
mechanical engineering from
UPM in Madrid, the Six Sigma
black belt certification and the
project management profes-
sional certification.
Perez is also passionate
about helping others and has
been a leader of Profesionales
Españoles en Chicago, a prin-
cipal networking organization
for Spanish professionals in
the Chicago land area, for over
10 years.
In his free time, Perez en-
joys discovering new restau-
rants with his wife Sara, prac-
ticing archery, and playing the
Indian tabla.
