Kenia Leanos is a third-genera-
tion entrepreneur and the ow-
ner and founder of KeniaLea.
Co, a brand with the goal of
empowering women across the
country to feel and look their
best.
Leanos started her career in
fashion at the age of 17, from
assisting customers as a retail
associate, being involved in
various fashion weeks, to laun-
ching her own fashion brand in
2021.
Leanos has hosted fashion
shows in Chicago where she
prioritized making women of
all body types showcase her
designs. Throughout her jour-
ney as an entrepreneur, she
has been able to help women
gain the confidence they need
to grow as leaders and enhan-
ce their natural beauty through
their unique style.
In addition to owning her
own fashion brand, she also
founded Papa Proto Founda-
tion in 2017, a nonprofit organi-
zation aimed at helping the less
fortunate. Leanos finds great
importance in being a minori-
ty woman in business, and she
wishes to inspire more women
to follow her lead for years to
come.
