Melissa was born Friday, September 16, 1960 in Lakeland, FL, to the late Ray Bridges and Jewel Hensley Lackey. In addition to her par- ents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Guy Lackey; an infant son, Ethan Michael Gettys and her brother, Mike Bridges.
